The strike is over. Normality can reign in LJ once more (until the next kerfuffle) and the sockpuppets can be put away

You know what's not fun? Rumaging around the house at 6am trying to find a plaster because kitty had just clawed a huge chunk out of your finger and you're bleeding everywhere

*sighs*

This week off has 70% sucked :(

An interesting poll on a prospective new journalling site

From what I can tell a bunch of former LJ employees want to set up a service that is comparable to the way LJ used to be 'back in the day'

It's an interesting idea but I am skeptical. I really don't think you're going to be able to please everyone

How bad is it that the only thing pushing me to watching this weeks SV is the hope that there will be more Lexara

I just found my dad's chocolate stash, which he told me I could help myself to while they're away. I had a bowl of Special K instead *is pleased with self*

I can't do this anymore. I hate Smallville and every week I have to force myself to watch it, after which I feel like a bit of my soul has been lost.

I'm done!

It's not conductive to my writing, and in fact every week pushes me further away from Clex so I'm stopping. I'm not going to watch any more, I'm not going to read about what happens, I'm just going to bury myself in the old episodes that I like and live in a happy land of denial

I found this when I was in the LotR fandom and I still don't know who to credit for it. It does make me laugh though, and perfect for those days where everything has gone wrong

I love He-Man. Have done ever since I was a little kid, and Skeletor is just awesome.

I met Nathan Fillion at the London Film and Comic Con in 2006. Nathan is how I guage all the other celebs I meet at these things because he was absolutely wonderful. He went out of his way to make sure everyone had a good time, chatted with everyone both for their autographs AND during the photoshoot (no one else has ever done that). Absolutely wonderful and I totally fell in love with him that weekend.

Hah! I got this with Smallville in mind. It's a screencap from an Adam and Joe sketch taking the piss out of Star Trek fans but it is so appropiate for how I feel towards Al Miles
