Today's confusion comes in the form of Jensen Ackles being hot and talking with an English accent.



LOL! When I was tagging this I spotted a tag called 'Jensen Ackles is my life' and I was all o.O until I remembered it was from my sponsored blogathon.

I know it's been a long running joke that I don't drool over Jensen like the rest of fandom does and I'll tell you for why.

It's nothing to do with me not thinking Jensen is attractive. He is quite obviously a very pretty man. The thing is I don't really know anything about him. He's usually pretty guarded at cons and the like (and believe me I don't blame him at all for that) so to me looking at Jensen is like looking at a nice painting. I can appreciate the pretty but it's not very easy to form any sort of emotional attachment.

I used to find Dean attractive in the early days of SPN but then he got too angsty and emo. It's not really surprising that the first time I found him attractive this year was the episode that has him smiling and excited like he used to be in S1 and S2 (okay, the hot clothes may have helped too)

So seeing the pics of Jensen goofing around at Ren Faire instantly made him a million times more attractive to me because we got some glimpses of him as a person.

So, yeah, on board the Jensen train now.

I still think Misha and Jared are hotter though ;)

I love that Danneel is there with him. They really are just the most adorable couple ever.

It's funny how quickly things change really. This time last year Jared was pretty much the sole reason I was involved in the SPN fandom and I composed an epic picspam to celebrate the happy times he'd brought to my fandom life.

This was pre-Misha though.

But that doesn't stop me enjoying J2 fics by the bucketload and I still prefer Jared to Jensen (yeah, I know, throw things at me now)

But, yeah, this is the time of year when I remember that Jared is actually way younger than I think he is. 28 today which I guess isn't so bad. There's only 2 years between us (until my birthday in September)

Now, I'm sure you know that I'm not much of a Jensen fangirl. I much prefer Misha and Jared. But, there's always the odd exception. I think this is a fairly old pic
