Wah! They posted the sawyerstillness scores and 2 of my icons didn't get any votes at all :( I've lost my mojo

I seriously don't understand the people at sawyerstillness. I just won 2nd place with this icon

Don't get me wrong, I'm really flattered and everything but all I did was crop it and alter the colouring ever so slightly. I was feeling lazy and couldn't think of anything else to do. There were MUCH better icons than that to vote for that clearly had more work put into them than this one. I dunno...

I really need to get into the habit of icon making again. I hardly did any last week. Didn't even enter bean_stillness. Bad Hils!

I'm not going to enter any more icontests now until we've got internet in the new flat. I just don't have time at the moment

I swear my internal clock is all messed up with me being off on Monday afternoon and Tuesday. I missed the deadline for bean_stillness but the Mod very kindly accepted my icons as she hadn't put the voting up yet.

Last night I missed the deadline for lost_stillness. So, this is the icon I would have submitted if I'd been paying attention



Next week should be a bit more calm. Hopefully anyway. But then things are going to get all crazy again for a bit while we move house. At least I can access LJ at work :)
