3. The right person won Strictly Come Dancing

1. I got presented with an award at work today. I thought it would just be a crappy certificate but it's a proper glass award with my name engraved on it. I'll post pics when I can

2. I watched Prisoner of Azkaban with Jacqui this afternoon and it rekindled my love of Sirius/Remus

3. I remembered the Marauder days and texted Padfoot, Prongs and Wormtail with the news that IT WAS SCABBERS!

4. I wrestled with Fergus and cuddled with Max

5. I've typed up half of my clexmas fic. It will be ready for beta tomorrow as planned.

Things to be happy about

1. I finished the handwritten draft of my clexmas fic. Now I just need to type it up and get it sent off for beta. Not telling whether there's porn or not. It'll be a surprise (or a disappointment depending on your perspective)

2. Jacqui and I had our Christmas dinner and gift exchange tonight. There are pics

3. We watched Love Actually. We watch this every year at Christmas and we know all the script but it's still awesome. Jacqui thinks Rowan Atkinson's character is an angel. I imagined him and Castiel sitting in a coffee shop in heaven talking about their exploits on earth. LOL!

In spite of my awful day I have lots of things to be happy about

1. The kindness of strangers.

2. jacqui_hw had wine, biscuits and chocolate waiting for me when I got home. I don't think I mention enough how awesome she is. Did I tell you that on Saturday she ordered us pizza and timed it so it arrived 5 minutes before Merlin started so I wouldn't be interrupted *huggles her*

3. You guys for all your kind comments *huggles you*

4. Fergus passed his Gold level obedience certificate, even though some of the things he was being tested on he'd never done before. He is a smart doggy.

Ok, ignoring the rental issues and the pre-interview jitters I do have things that have made me happy today

Being leapt on by two excited labradors, both of whom are now snuggling me in bed

Fergus had a play-wrestle with me earlier. He loved to play-fight

Max just likes to cuddle.

Christmas lunch. I'm very fortunate that I get along very well with everyone I work with. I spent a very enjoyable few hours with good food and good company
