In that clip I posted yesterday Michael Rosenbaum states that he does not like to be called Mike. I wonder why he gets called it all the time in fics then. Same with Tom being called Tommy. Has anyone ever actually heard him be called that by anyone outside fic.

Funny how fandom latches onto these things isn't it.

I have brought to light Dave's fear of sporks.

He didn't know what one was so I showed him a pic and he started freaking out.

I just laughed because I am mean *g*

Edit: A spork is a perfect metaphor for human existance. It tries to function as both spoon and fork, and because of this dual nature, it fails miserably at both. You cannot have soup with a spork, it is far too shallow; you cannot eat meat with a spork, the prongs are too small.

In light of LJ's recent publication regarding fanfic supergee has had a brilliant idea

I suggest that the Harry Potter fanfic communities use a phrase such as, "In the early days of Hogwarts it was placed under a spell that made its students 18 years old as long as they were engaging in sexual acts."

I'm also struck by the irony that all this is kicking off just before the release of the final book where I'm sure many HP fans are going to want to write fic to mark the occasion.

My whole flist seems to be about HP tonight. I'm not excited, I'm not counting down the hours and I won't be reading the book until I can borrow it from someone when they're done with it

Got to thank devil_does_cry for this one. Jared and Jensen mock Smallville, Tom and Rosenbaum (in a funny good humoured way). Rosenbaum then hears them and comes over to join in and talk about going to the gym

Smallville should get cancelled and Tom and Rosey should go over to Supernatural. Then the best show in the world would exist.

I registered with TWOP a while back and I finally went over for a look after lexalicious70 told me that it's just been announced MR is doing a con in France in December.

It's not a very well organised forum I have to say. There's a broad subject heading for various topics and then rather than sub-posts inside that there's just 600+ entries for each topic

I'm not sure I like it but I will loiter a while longer and see if I get used to it
