Lurking

Well, my mum wandered in this morning to wave her copy of Harry Potter under my nose. I've checked my flist and a lot of people have finished the book already

Wow.

Today I will be mostly sorting stuff out for writerconuk and working on my challenge fic which is going nowhere fast because I'd rather be writing Smallville

Speaking of Smallville I've downloaded all of Season 6, only now I've got it I'm wary about watching it in case it makes me hate the show. Maybe if I don't watch it all in one huge go it'll be less painful. I can probably manage an episode a day

So, since I've already seen Zod I will watch Sneeze later on today at some point

Do I need to put Season 6 stuff behind a cut for anyone?

This town is kinda like a ghost town

No one is logged into IM and my flist is more or less empty. I am an HP widow!! *sobs*

I think I'm making my Buffy/Doctor Who fic too complicated. I'm not going to have it done in time for the deadline at this rate and I really don't want this to be a fic that goes on for months

I'm tempted to scrap what I have and just start again and write the ficlet this fic was supposed to be when I started

Maria strikes again

It seems Maria has figured out that we are all checking IP addresses for people based in Chile and has worked out a way around it

When real_lexgirl asked to be friended I did the now obligatary IP check and saw she was in Tampa. Thinking it was fine I friended her

I then saw posts on several journal saying that this was Maria again and she was using an IP randomiser. Sure enough she's got IP addresses listing her as being in Florida, Germany, Amsterdam and Russia.

A couple of us offered her the chance the prove that she's not Maria and she declined.

She's now gone from my flist.

At this rate I'm going to wind up not friending anyone new unless I get a personal recommendation from someone already on my flist

Because, seriously, I do not need someone that mentally unstable on my flist

I suck!

Mum has told me I can borrow her copy of Harry Potter tonight while she's at work.

*starts reading*
