Woah!

How did it get to Thursday so fast? Not that I'm complaining. Means it'll soon be the weekend *g*

I hope next week goes as fast as this one because then I get paid and can go and see all these films at the cinema I've been meaning to see (and Transformers again)

Got no major purchases to make this month, which is the first time since I bought my laptop I think. LOL. Means I can start saving again for my trip to Texas which should be happening in March and also for my driving lessons

I do need a new mobile phone but I can probably get a decent one fairly cheap

The guy that works for me has just got a new job and will be leaving in a few weeks.

It's bad to be rejoicing this, yes, but seriously he was the worst possible person to get as an employee for my first ever management position. He essentially hates everyone in our office and doesn't talk to anyone unless he has to. He always communicates with me via e mail and whenever I try and have a verbal conversation I get one word answers. He does his job fine so there's nothing really I can do about it.

From the sounds of it when he leaves they're not going to replace him so I will have no staff to manage. Since that was the one aspect of my job I didn't like I am a happy Hils now

Jarhead's birthday

So, today is Jared Padaleki's birthday. If I had more time I would write some J2 with some Tom/Mike thrown in. What the hell is the Tom/Mike ship called anyway? Tike? Mom? *snickers* Actually, I think I read Wellingbaum somewhere so let's go with that.

Does anyone know if you can download the version of All Along The Watchtower that was used at the end of the final episode of BSG?

I have the Jimi Hendrix version, which is awesome, but I loved the one on BSG with the sitars and whatnot and I'd love to get hold of a copy if I can

Fanfic depicting underage sex to be banned on LJ

The specific wording used is: "...material -- including drawings and text -- that explicitly depicts minors under the age of 18 (real or not) in a graphic sexual context. Or, in other words: Romeo and Juliet is okay. Teens talking about their experiences with sex is okay. Smut focused on a twelve year old is not okay."

This is kind of a tricky one for me. I don't write Harry Potter fic but I do write Smallville fic and for the majority of Smallville Clark is under 18.

I forsee a mass exodus from LJ in the very near future and this makes me very sad
