Greetings from writerconuk! It was a fairly hellish start to the day when my train was delayed by an hour. This is the second year I have had weird train problems. Still it wasn't as bad as the year I was delayed by 3 hours due to cows on the line.

Only ended up being 20 minutes late which, considering I'd planned to arrive super early anyway was no big deal. Only got here about 15 mins before kazzy_cee

I have had beer, a delicious pulled pork sandwich and in about an hour we will commence with the quiz and other fun Friday night activities. Right now we're all just hanging out in the bar and because we're all geeks we're all on our various computing devices while we chat

Oh, oh, and I opened my birthday presents this morning because I'll be here for my actual birthday tomorrow

dametokillfor got me an AMAZING MUNCLE t-shirt which I am wearing right now!

I have pretty bad luck with trains. Recently that has included being kicked off due to some idiot not paying his fare, I think I've had a cow incident once, bad weather once stranded me at Carlisle for three hours...there are probably more!
