writerconuk! It was a fairly hellish start to the day when my train was delayed by an hour. This is the second year I have had weird train problems. Still it wasn't as bad as the year I was delayed by 3 hours due to cows on the line.

I have had beer, a delicious pulled pork sandwich and in about an hour we will commence with the quiz and other fun Friday night activities. Right now we're all just hanging out in the bar and because we're all geeks we're all on our various computing devices while we chat
Oh, oh, and I opened my birthday presents this morning because I'll be here for my actual birthday tomorrow
