Snow has mostly melted and left a lovely sheet of ice on all the paths. Nearly slipped a couple of times in my way in to work this morning. Am grateful for the extra pair of thick socks I put on!
What's it like where you are? Still snowy? Are you still off work/school?

Date: 2009-02-03 09:46 am (UTC)Of course when I rang in and everyone was there I felt like an idiot! It's sunny now, so I'm going to go in later when it's melted a bit.

Date: 2009-02-03 10:15 am (UTC)I don't think Bristol had 'time off', we got it late and while it was a good snowfall it wasn't disruptive.

Date: 2009-02-03 12:27 pm (UTC)Mum & LLB school/college off today but Dad made it to work.
Pretty good on the roads actually. They were out gritting really early yesterday cos I got spattered by one at about half past four.
There are children (plus LLB & his mates) sledging down the road. Tis a wonderful sight to behold.
I LOVE SNOW!

2)Try to land on your side - you will avoid the whole arm thing (see above) and the whole falling backwards onto your backpack and crushing your laptop thing (lesson learned at age 15)
3) Gravity is a bitch who can not be beaten. If it's gonna happen anyway just go with it (lesson relearned every damn year)
