They're not being very subtle

Something which has only just occurred to me. The creators of Merlin have openly said that the show was inspired by Smallville. Now, look at Merlin's preferred wardrobe: Red shirt and blue neckscarf or blue shirt and red neckscarf
They're not even trying here, are they. LOL! What next: Arthur goes bald?

Date: 2008-12-29 05:06 pm (UTC)It's definitely an appropriate color, and it makes total sense that Arthur, being crown prince, might have purple in his wardrobe. I just find the color parallels between Merlin and Smallville endlessly amusing. XD *has actually been sekritly paying attention to the colors from the beginning, and will someday put together a picspam of The Red Shirt and who is wearing it when*
And it's true, they both do look quite good in it. =3 *privately thinks both Bradley and Michael would look good in anything, and also nothing*
*is kind of a perv* XD

*Is totally there with you.
I love the red shirt as well, especially as it seems to get more and more open-necked as the series progresses.
