Nasty and nice

Why the hell are there so many people in town? Do they not have jobs? All I wanted to do was pop out to the chemist and the sandwich shop and I could barely move for the number of people. I already had a headache and now it's worse. Grr!

Dave sent me a text earlier saying they'd all been sent home, presumably because the heating is still broken. I do time my sick days well. Last time I had one the computer system went down so we couldn't do any work.

In happier news, though, I had two lovely cards from mysticmoonstorm and danaid_luv in the mail. Your lovely, kind words made me happier than I can express in my current state

Also received a present from bornmiddleaged which is now sat under the tree. I love that my friends know me well enough to write 'Kneel before Zod' instead of Merry Christmas *snickers*

You guys are all wonderful! I won't hug you in case I pass on my germs.
