Happy Bank Holiday
Aug. 31st, 2020 11:28 amI can't believe my 5 days off work are almost over! It's amazing how fast time flies even when you're not doing a huge amount. Still, I'm only back at work for a couple of weeks and then it's my long weekend away in the cabin.
Yesterday was another day of watching ALL OF THE SHOWS! I watched another episode of Street Dance of China in the morning with the Australians and a few of the European group chat members joined too. We all got quite emotional at the end when some of the contestants got sent home and all the team captains were crying. The show's producer made a really nice speech too and then he started crying too. You know you're in a fandom space when you've got a bunch of people from a variety of countries all sniffling down their microphones at each other over a dance show.
As I mentioned yesterday I decided to shelve my fic and focus on finishing The Lost Tomb Reboot which I did! Livetweets here and some overall thoughts on the whole show under the cut.

madamoisellebon and I watched another 4 episodes of Lost Tomb 1. We finished pretty late so I haven't done a Twitter recap yet but overall we are both still loving it a lot and we're going to watch the rest of it on Saturday.
So I kind of have a gap in my viewing schedule now.
I'm about to watch another episode of Street Dance of China with the Australians which will bring us up to date with the episodes that have been translated, I've finished Lost Tomb Reboot, I'm saving Lost Tomb 1 for Saturday to watch with Bon.
I need to find something short to watch really, just to fill the time this week. Once Bon and I have finished Lost Tomb 1 we're going to start Lost Tomb 2 which is a lot longer (40 episodes whereas LT1 is only 10). Once we start LT2 we're going to do what we did with Reboot and watch on our own during the week and then watch wherever we're up to together at the weekend.

Having looked at my To Watch list Kingdom is only 6 episodes which is exactly the sort of length I need. So I guess I'll be doing that.
