No secret that I love strangeandcharm's fic and this one was no exception. It was chock full of the h/c that she writes so wonderfully with equal amounts of angst and romance thrown in. Loved it!

This is a coda to 6x18, 'Frontierland'. It is not about cowboy hats. I wrote it for my best beloved candesgirl, who wanted some exploration of Castiel's hurt, with at least a little Dean-comfort. ♥

Another fateful day

I don't really believe in coincidence so it seems like fate that a day after meeting oddlyfamiliar for the first time I met the other part of our fandom OT3 hsapiens.

I remember the day clearly. It was quite early and I was browsing my flist when I saw these gorgeous icons. They were clear, crisp images with lovely vivid colours and were just the sort of icons I was aspiring to make myself. I snagged some, and it happened that hsapiens was on LJ at the same time and we got a nice comment conversation going about which of Misha's body parts we preferred. We friended each other and not long after that I requested someone to pick the Britishisms out of my spn_j2_bigbang and she volunteered. Little did I know it was her first J2 fic.

And thus we established my corrupting influence ;)

She said she had a Twitter but only used it to follow a few celebs. Her tweet count is now over 22,000. She said she didn't IM because it was too distracting. We now chat on MSN pretty much every day.

I am pleased to count her amongst closest fandom friend. Not only is she an extremely talented icon maker, she's a fantastic beta, she's got a wicked sense of humour and will always pander to my demands for icons (even Wincest ones).
