Surprise!Misha

Was enjoying some CSI background noise at work tonight. CSI:NY came on which is not my favourite and I was about to change the channel when I saw those glorious words 'guest starring Misha Collins'

YAY!

So I watched it, and I made Dan watch it too as he has seen me rambling about Misha on Twitter but doesn't know who he is. He does now.

It's quite funny but ( spoilery if you haven't seen the episode )

Dan was shocked that I don't know what Misha's favourite food is and has demanded I find out at my next con

The hotel saga continues

So remember how I contacted Creation about booking the hotel for Nashville and Sharon (after being reminded by me twice) passed me on to someone else who passed me onto the hotel.

I finally got a reply today. Lady from the hotel was lovely, took the details of my arrival and departure dates and what kind of room I would like. A couple of hours later I got another e mail telling me everything had been booked

'Please call the hotel to provide a credit card'

*HEADDESK*

Am I not speaking English? Is it not clear that the whole reason I wanted to do it online was so I didn't have to pay ridiculous fees to call the US? Toll free numbers are not toll free if you're calling internationally.

I ranted about this to Dan for ten mins and he said 'Oh, just use the work phone. We have offices in the US no one will care'

*HEADDESK*

So I'm just waiting to get my invoice from the hotel and then I'll call them.

Why are things so unneccesarily complicated?
