The hotel saga continues
Jan. 26th, 2011 06:01 amSo remember how I contacted Creation about booking the hotel for Nashville and Sharon (after being reminded by me twice) passed me on to someone else who passed me onto the hotel.
I finally got a reply today. Lady from the hotel was lovely, took the details of my arrival and departure dates and what kind of room I would like. A couple of hours later I got another e mail telling me everything had been booked
'Please call the hotel to provide a credit card'
*HEADDESK*
Am I not speaking English? Is it not clear that the whole reason I wanted to do it online was so I didn't have to pay ridiculous fees to call the US? Toll free numbers are not toll free if you're calling internationally.
I ranted about this to Dan for ten mins and he said 'Oh, just use the work phone. We have offices in the US no one will care'
*HEADDESK*
So I'm just waiting to get my invoice from the hotel and then I'll call them.
Why are things so unneccesarily complicated?
