Because we got so sucked into playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 over at Greg's (insanely pretty but I am sad I can't play Doctor Strange in this one. Had to take Gambit instead) I totally missed Merlin

I AM A FAILURE OF A FANGIRL!

I'll have to watch it later on once Dave has left. I've also got Gossip Girl, Flashforward and three episodes of Castle to watch. Oh, and I forgot Dollhouse too. Ah crap!

Meep!

God, I can't wait for the next SPN ep because then I might actually stop musing about The End. LOL.

I saw something in [livejournal.com profile] elvisglasses5's journal today which set me off again

Yet more SPN 5.04 talk )

How long do you keep bank statements for? I'm sorting through all my paperwork and I've got stacks of old bank statements and credit card bills. I don't think I've thrown one away since I left uni in 2001. LOL!

I have filled a bag with rubbish to feed into the shredder at work though and everything else is now in a nicely organised filing system. Yeah, because I have nothing better to do with my Sunday afternoon. LOL!

I should start watching my shows, I know, but I kind of want to start my new fic.

Dave and I got through a decent number of SPN eps this weekend and he liked all of them

We watched:
Tall Tales
Bad Day at Black Rock
Mystery Spot
Hollywood Babylon
Ghostfacers
Jus in Bello
Crossroad Blues

Mystery Spot was his favourite. Next time I see him he gets the Castiel introductory session as I'll have my S4 DVDs by then

Oh, and I've got one more thing to say about SPN 5.04 (Yeah, I know!)

I was just wondering )

I swear I'm a moron sometimes. I just sat through two episodes of The Catherine Tate Show in the hope that Colin Morgan's episode would show up (even though I've already seen it) when I could have just watched an episode of Merlin. LOL.

The BBC have done a new production of Emma which started tonight. Overall I think I liked it, although I am a huge fan of the film with Gwyneth Paltrow (is that a mortal sin?). I actually think the girl playing Harriet (who was in an episode of Merlin btw) would have been more suited to playing Emma and vice versa. It's probably really mean and shallow but everyone keeps talking about what a beauty Emma is and the actress playing her is really odd looking!

I can't quite decide whether I like Johnny Lee Millar's Mr Knightly but that's possibly because I had a huge crush on the Jeremy Northam Knightly when I was a teenager.

Tamsin Grieg appears to be doing an impression of Sophie Thompson's Miss Bates and Michael Gambon is being seriously underused as Mr Woodhouse

That being said I did like it despite all those little grumbles. I absolutely loved the opening which clearly sets everything up and makes it clear who everyone is from the beginning. [livejournal.com profile] jacqui_hw pointed out and I agree that it's quite confusing trying to work out who everyone is and how they are connected to everyone else sometimes. I also loved the little scenes that don't actually have Emma in them. Rare because obviously it's her story but I thought it was a nice touch.

Must definitely try and remember to watch the next part next week.

Has anyone else heard that the guy who wrote Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is now writing Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Methinks the novelty has worn off. Once is an interesting idea, twice is just a one trick pony.

And aparently Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is also being turned into a film.
