Got a whole load of nothing done yesterday as my brain was fried from lack of sleep.
Got woken up at 7am again this morning by the pets wanting their breakfast but this time, thankfully, once they were fed they just went to sleep so I went back to bed for a few hours
I need to watch at least 3 episodes of Season 6 of Smallville today if I want to be done by Friday (when Season 7 will be up for download). I have to say I'm not hating this Season quite as much as I expected. I prefer it over Season 5, but yes it is very Lana centric and I wish Clark and Lex would just both get the hell over her. But it's got some good stuff too, which Season 5 didn't have. But I still have to almost force myself to watch Season 6 which is sad.
I had a thought actually. How come Clark is ok with Lana investigating him, but freaked the hell out when Lex did it? Grr!
Anyway, I've got Heroes downloading so that should be ready to watch soon. Uh...how come none of you have posted about it? Was it not good? Or have I missed something.
I also need to write some more of my Halloween fic since I did none of that yesterday either.

Well, that's the last of the Hornblower books that I own. It was pretty good. Not quite as slashy as the last one but it was amusing when Bush turned up drunk at Hornblower's house. LOL.
Next on the reading list is Mouse Guard: Fall 1152 by David Peterson. This was a birthday present from Dave and he insisted I read it next. LOL. From the looks of it this book is like a graphic novel version of Dogtanian only with mice. It's either going to be cute and funny or dark and twisted like Watership Down. We shall see...

Snagged this from
herohunter's journal. This article puts into words so well what many of us felt about Season 6 of Smallville. I can only hope that the writers catch a glimpse of this and get a clue as to why they fucked up.
Seriously, they seem totally clueless as to why so many people hate Lana.
The wrongs and rights of Smallville Season 6. Mostly the wrongs

I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. Promise made me cry and I can't seem to switch it off now. I tried reading some sappy Clex fics but they made me cry (happy tears) too.
Now I've just found out today would have been Christopher Reeve's birthday and I went to his website. Just seeing the photo of him and his wife on the first page made me cry.
I think I'm just going to give up for today and go and sit in a dark room
