Snagged this from herohunter's journal. This article puts into words so well what many of us felt about Season 6 of Smallville. I can only hope that the writers catch a glimpse of this and get a clue as to why they fucked up.

That was a really good article--I read it on Ash's LJ yesterday. I don't know what sort of site that was, but I always appreciate seeing essays like this on what appear to be less like fandom sites--makes me hope TPTB might actually read them and pay some attention.

I haven't seen season 6 but from what I've read about it, the essay's right on target about what's causing the series to have problems.

It did remind me of something I saw the other day while watching a few season 1 eps. When they do they roll the beginning credits, the order of characters is Clark, then Lana. Which gives me really bad feelings about how the series will end since the creative team has never seemed to stop the Lana fixation!
