Well, I wound up staying awake way longer than I planned. Ah well.

My comment on SV for today when discussing Season 5 with [livejournal.com profile] notsowise_sage

Lana really is the personification of the castration of Lex. Every time he's around her he turns into a whiny little bitch. Dude, it's Lex Luthor! He is no one's bitch! Except maybe Clark ;)

And a poll as a result of watching Reckoning. Well, talking about it anyway

Ok, I slept for over 13 hours and had loads of weird dreams. I think I'm in a fit state of mind to face the world again...maybe.

Lots to do over the next couple of days

1. Do my laundry
2. Type up my holiday journal
3. Post my Canada photos
4. Finish my RPS fic
5. Make Smallville icons
6. Tidy my bedroom

If I can get all that done by the end of the weekend I will be happy.

18. My Take - Gary Barlow

I read pretty much all of My Take on the way over to Canada. LOL. It was an interesting read. Gary doesn't hide his faults and admits that he was at least partially responsible for the breakup of the band. I also didn't know that he was on the tube when the July bombs went off. It was kind of scary to read a first hand account of what it was like. His train was very close to one that exploded and he saw inside as they were trying to get out.

I'm currently partially through Lieutenant Hornblower by CS Forester. Bush has just arrived and I forsee much implied slash between them ;)

I'm already pricing out flights for my next possible holiday. You'd think the stress and exhaustion would put me off flying across the Atlantic again ;)

I always keep a journal when I'm holiday so I don't forget stuff I did. I'm going to break this down into 3 posts. Before the con, the con and after the con

WARNING: This contains casting spoilers for the next Season and Christmas Special of Doctor Who

Canada pre-con )
