I had dreams involving lots of LJ peeps last night. First of all I went to stay with jedipirate and I was really worried that I was going to do something that would upset her or her family.

Then drbillbongo and muck_a_luck came to visit me and we played with LotR action figures and talked about 24 (which is interesting since I've never seen it)

So, LJ has made a statement to the press stating 'Our decision here was not based on pure legal issues. It was based on what community we want to build.'

They have yet to make an official statement to us, their actual customers.

The urge to say fuck you, LJ and move somewhere else is increasing...

LJ could have saved themselves so much hassle if they'd posted this yesterday

As far as I'm concerned that's the end of it. LJ has ackowledged they screwed up and they're working to fix it. That's all any of us wanted (well, it's all I wanted anyway)

Hopefully this will be a lesson learned for the next time someone makes a complaint

It's probably a bit redundant now the LJ fiasco seems to be sorted, but I created a GJ during the LJ outage of last year so here it is

I'm suddenly insanely tired. I think I'm just going to have some dinner, veg for a bit and then have a stupidly early night

Now that the wank is slowly starting to die down again I want to get back to using this journal for what it was originally intended: fun

I got very little done yesterday and this morning fandom wise because this whole thing had got me really wound up. It's been pointed out to me that in the grand scheme of things what happened on LJ was a trivial matter. Yes, it was, but it's something that was important to me. LJ is like a second home to me and my flist like an extended family. I've been on LJ for coming up to six years now and I spend a huge amount of time here every day. Is it wrong to care about something that forms such a big part of my daily routine?

Anyway, I hope this is the last I will have to say on this issue.

Now let's get back to the usual silliness like voting on whether Sylar is hot or not

I say hot but only towards the end of Season 1. From about Five Years Gone onwards I would say

So, LJ is being all weird on top of everything now
