So, we were supposed to have catastrophic amounts of snow last night (by British standards). The government had everyone on emergency alert. It was supposed to be the worst snowfall in 7 years. So, when I woke up this morning I looked outside. Not a single flake on the ground. LOL.

I've got Lost (meh!) and last weeks SPN to watch tonight. I went to bed at 9:30 last night and am feeling a bit more human today. YAY! I might make some Smallville icons if I have time.

I finally got around to setting up the shiney new scanner/printer my parents gave me before Christmas. I need to print out a shitload of Clex to read when I am in Swindon all next week and have no access to the internet.

I need to finish writing my CLFF fic before the weekend so I have time to type it up and send it to [livejournal.com profile] vichan before I go away

Oh, and I had an SPN dream last night. I think my first one. It was like Groundhog Day where Sam and Dean had to live the same day over and over again until they figured out a way to stop someone from dying.

Then there was a bit where these cultists wanted to drop Lana about 300 feet into the ocean. Alas I woke up before it happened ;)

Any thoughts on this camera? I'm not necessarily going to buy it from Amazon but it looks to do everything I want my camera to do

It's snowing! Alas I cannot take pics as my camera is dead :(
hils: (Lex Ring by me)
1. The Odyssey - Homer
2. Smallville: The Comics - Misc
3. The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray - Chris Wooding
4. Lex Luthor: Man of Steel - Brian Azzarello & Lee Bremejo

I wasn't actually intending to read the Lex comic just yet. [livejournal.com profile] goth_clark recommended it a few weeks ago so I added it to my wishlist. Then yesterday Greg said he'd borrowed it from the library and asked if I wanted to read it before he took it back. So I read it in my lunch break. LOL

I loved it! The artwork was really striking and that isn't normally the sort of thing I notice. I really like AU comics that give a different twist to the usual story. I think that's why I liked Red Son so much. This was a really interesting Superman story told from Lex's point of view and I found it fascinating. Lex is so much more than a supervillain in this. We get to see why he's so determined to beat Superman. I would definitely recommend it!

Also, Lex and Bruce are totally doing it in this comic ;)

Iconing

Things I have learned whilst making icon bases

1. How the hell did it take me to Season 4 to see how pretty Tom Welling is? The man is stunning!

Evidence )

2. Smallville is so much better when you watch it with the sound muted

3. You can tell when Lana is talking about herself. Her lips are moving ;)

4. OMG! Lex is so gay. The way he slinks across the room, drinks water, fondles a pool cue etc
