I think I'm still getting to grips with the characterisation in my Smallville fics. I have the tendency to make Lex a bit of a wuss I think, but hey, I'm learning, and he does get beat up and rescued a lot.

In my latest fic Lex is far from wussy *cackles evilly*

Who'd have thought writing smut could be so much fun.

Sorry, but this is still novel for me. Those have beta'd for me in other fandoms will know I LOATHE the sex scenes.

[livejournal.com profile] muck_a_luck might remember how much trouble I had getting Bean and Viggo to shag in a remotely realistic way. LOL.

Title: Split
Author: Hils
Rating: PG
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Summary: Set during Onyx. What if Clark had found the real Lex a bit sooner?

Every Smallville fic I've written has received progressively less comments. The last fic I posted only got 1 comment but it was gen and I know a lot of people don't like that. However, the fic I posted yesterday has received nothing at all

I know the point of fic writing isn't to get comments and I enjoyed writing it but it's still depressing.

Ah well, I shall carry on. I'm not quite ready to give up yet.

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Cheese I know it's really bad for me and probably one of the most fattening food products there is but OMG it's so yummy
Literary: Comic books It's probably snobby of me not to consider them proper books but I don't. That being said I like to take time out occasionally to read something with superheroes and lots of explosions
Audiovisual: Smallville Come on, we all know it sucks but I love it anyway
Musical: Take That Cheesy pop music at its best
Celebrity: Ross Kemp Yes, I am ashamed to say I went through a phase of finding Grant Mitchell weirdly attractive

I got a comment for my story. I don't totally suck!
hils: (Books by ceci2176)
1. The Odyssey - Homer
2. Smallville: The Comics - Misc
3. The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray - Chris Wooding

I liked Alaizbel Cray a lot. It was new and different to anything I've read before. I must admit out of the two Chris Wooding books I've read though I did prefer Poison.

Next is The Ultimates: Super-Human by Mark Millar. Greg loaned this to me, I think in an effort to get me to read something that wasn't Superman or Batman. LOL. I'm quite looking forward to it. Mark Millar wrote Red Son which was awesome so I am optimistic that I will like this

Ok, fine

Had another comment for my story and someone read it on the SSA and sent me a feedback e mail

I retract my bemoaning post of self-pity. I really should just get over myself. LOL

Ah crap!

Dude, my camera just fell apart in my hands. The battery cover was cracked and now it's snapped in half and fallen off *sigh*

Guess I'll be investing in a new digicam when I get paid at the end of the month. Anyone want to recommend one to me?
