Thoughts about Lex

You know, the more I think about it the more annoyed I get about the way the writers of Smallville handled Lex's journey. I know it shouldn't surprise me since bad characterisation appears to be their forte (Helen and Jason randomly turning evil for example) but I was still expecting something a little more dramatic

In fact, Lex's transistion to evil is so random I don't even know when it happened. After Onyx maybe?

It's like towards the end of Season 4 the writers suddenly thought 'oh, wait, how are we going to make Lex become evil? Oh, who cares, let's just have him do some evil stuff in the next episode.'

Grr!

So much time, so little to do

I have set myself the mission of watching all of Season 5 of Smallville (and Zod) by the end of this weekend. I will be making a start as soon as I fix up my latest Smallville fic and post it. I'm optimistic I can get it done

However, I also need to colour my hair, attend a writerconuk meeting and I really want to get my Onyx fic typed up and sent off before I go to Germany on Thursday

Right, best crack on then.

Observations so far

Clark and Lex had a fight. A proper fight with punching and everything. The Clex is well and truly dead now *mourns*

I love Chloe. She's so much cuter and awesome now she can be open with Clark about his secret

I can't decide if Clana or Lexana is more nauseating. I guess I'll have to wait for the Lexana to happen before I decide.

Zod has been mentioned by crazy!Lionel *so excited*

Leonard Roberts was playing one of the Kryptonians so Smallville has another Buffy link and a Heroes link now. WHEE!

James has appeared, very briefly. He's made out of icky goo, but then he was naked *g*

Ms. Khan: Oh, it's a good hmm, if we printed tabliod nonsense like the Inquisitor does, but we're the Daily Planet and tall tales about slaying Buffy the vampire don't make it into the pages of a real newspaper.
