Morning (barely) all

I love not getting up until lunchtime. I'm such a lazy-ass. LOL.

I have pretty much nothing to do today which is nice. I want to spend the afternoon reading lots of fanfic but first I really have to watch some of my rented DVDs. I've had them since November. LOL. It just feels a bit weird watching horror films during the day.

I don't know what I want to write next. I've got a load of bunnies jotted down but nothing is grabbing me at the moment.

Someone posted a Lex/Jason/Nathan Petrelli fic last night. Lex/Nathan! That would totally work. I could probably get some Clark/Peter in there too. LOL.

Books I've read this year

1. The Odyssey - Homer
2. Smallville: The Comics - Misc.

I really enjoyed the Smallville comics, although the art was a bit iffy in some of them. I especially liked the one about what Chloe did during her internship at The Daily Planet. There was also a nice Clexy one where Clark saves Lex from being kidnapped and tortured. Poor Lex. LOL. He's always getting beaten up/kidnapped/poisoned etc.

Next on the list is The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding. I fully expect to enjoy this given how much I liked Poison.

It bugs me when I recognise a song and can't place it. LOL

I just got done watching American Psycho. Dude, gross! It's one of those films I've been meaning to watch for years. I hear the book is much better than the film though.

How to ruin a fic

I don't normally post about bad!fics because I think it's cruel to the author. However, this realy does demonstrate how a bad sex scene can spoil what would otherwise be a great fic

I'm obviously not going to name the author. It's no one on my flist. But I read what was mostly an amazing Clex fic. Unfortunately, after I'd been happily reading for about half an hour I got to the sex scene which occured at the end of the story. I was fine with it until I got to this

"Let me do you," says Lex, sitting up. He dips his fingers in the jar and slicks them down Clark's long-suffering cock. "God, you're big, fat as a tangerine at the tip..."

"Too big?" asks Clark. "I don't want-"

Lex claps a sticky hand over Clark's mouth.

"I do. So shut up and fuck me."

A tangerine? Duuude!
