I have to say that whilst I loved Prime, I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Liquor, mostly because it got a bit silly towards the end. I'm still going to get a copy of Soul Kitchen though so I can read the next book in the series. LOL.
So, that's my list for the year. A LOT of comics on there. I blame Greg and Dave. Hehe!
Best book was definitely We Need To Talk About Kevin, just because it packed such a powerful punch. I don't think I've ever read a book that's given me nightmares before and I certainly haven't read a book that made me leave the room because there was something on TV that reminded me of it.
I have no idea what's next as my 'to read' pile is at home. I'll be back there tonight though. I have a feeling it's one of several Nelson biographies that I bought while I was in Portsmouth last year.

It's been a supremely boring day at work today. I spent the morning finishing off an online training course I started yesterday and that has been pretty much it. There's been a couple of little jobs I've been able to do work-wise but other than that I've been mostly reading
I finished off a series called Lost that I started reading a few days ago, only to discover that it was a wip. Grar! I hate it when that happens. Must e mail the author anddemand ask if there is more. I'm finding I'm rather enjoying fics where Bruce Wayne is involved in helping Clark and Lex. I wonder if there's any plans to introduce him into Smallville. Because that would be awesome. I need to find some decent Batman/Superman (in a non slashy way) comic books to read.
So, in the need for more things to read I went back to
lanning after I got to Clark and Lex's first kiss when I was in Corsham. She didn't disappoint. There was lots of hot sex and it was perfect. I love my boys. Still got lots to read in that series so that's good.
I also managed to get a Clex vignette typed up that I wrote while I was away.
So that's why I've been posting links to random/interesting things. Greg has been passing them to me to stop me going insane. LOL

Pfft! As if further proof were needed
Jan. 12th, 2007 06:48 pmNabbed this from
goth_clark who kindly capped this weeks Smallville ep so I have even less reason to watch it. LOL

This weeks
fannish5
Name five totally self-indulgent story ideas. (The fanfic you would write if you didn't care if you had an audience and also had no shame.)
To be honest I actually have no shame when it comes to fic anyway. I gave Jack Sparrow breasts once! LOL.
Uh, so here are some bunnies that are in my head at the moment. They're not especially self-indulgent though.
1. Clark kills Lana, sweeps Lex of his feet etc etc.
2. Norrington hangs Elizabeth for being a pirate
3. Claire dumps Charlie in favour of Desmond
4. Willow renounces her gayness and runs off with Xander
5. Aragorn leaves Arwen for Legolas
Dude, I suck. LOL
Speaking of sucking, Lois and Clark is on TV. Duuuude. It sucks! Suckity suck suck.
