My body clock is still really messed up. I woke up at 6, then 7, then 8 and then I finally got up at 9. I REALLY need to sleep but I just can't

Unfortunately there's nothing I can do until we get a move date for the new place or get told we can pick up our stuff from the old place.

Maybe I'll fix up my VigBean fic since that was what I had planned for last weekend

I've also e mailed the cruise people and told them that we're homeless and therefore cannot afford to bring the stupid amounts of money they wanted us to pay. I pointed out that since we're not booked on any official excursions, all we will need to pay for are our drinks and any souvenirs. They're going to get back to me

Jacqui has been told that if she's not back at work tomorrow that they're going to stop paying her. She may be only temping there but surely they can't do that. She can't go to work if she has nowhere to live!

Update

Letting Agent just phoned. We just figured that the checks and references that were done when we moved into the burned flat would be carried over to this new place, but no, they have to do fresh references before we can move so it's now looking like next Friday before we can pick up the keys. Jacqui now has to provide a guarantor for her rent because she's had to quit her job and all in all it's proving to be a lot more complicated than we thought. They're basically treating it like we had just walked in off the street like a regular customer

I was hoping to be back at work next week some time but that's not going to happen now. I hope they don't start getting funny with me. 2 weeks off is taking the piss a bit. I might have to take some holiday time. I'll speak to the boss tomorrow and see what she says

It would be so nice if someone gave us a break. Ever since the fire on Friday it's been one complicated issue after another, whilst everyone is saying 'is there anything I can do to help' nobody actually wants to see themselves out of pocket to help a fellow human being

Jacqui had to pay to stay in the B&B last night, she's pretty much lost her job for wanting time off, we're having to pay the letting agency to do checks they've already done, it's just one thing after another

Sorry, I'm just getting really wound up and stressed about this. Our period of homlessness seems to be getting longer and longer with each day and I'm sick of it

We'd better get some fucking compensation out of this. I'm sick of being treated like an inconvenience. It's not my fault the stupid twat was having a cigarette in a non-smoking building, it's not my fault the flat was badly designed, it's not my fault our flat got soaked. NONE of this is my fault, yet we keep being punished. It fucking sucks!

Although I do have a credit card, I'm nearly up to my limit so it's no use to me for this purpose. I just replied and said neither of us has one. If they start kicking up a fuss I'm just going to demand a refund for the whole thing. I'm just sick of all this bollocks
