Third Age and the cruise

Cruise update: The seating plan has now been revised so Jacqui and I are now sitting with Jonathan Woodward. EEE! The only actor to have appeared in Buffy, Angel AND Firefly. Can't wait. Just need to get the money sorted for the ship deposit and we're good to go. Remind me it'll all be worth it when I end up having to work Saturday and Sunday this weekend :s

I'm stuck on Third Age. Again. I managed to get past the bit at Helm's Deep I was stuck on (first try) and now I'm in Osgiliath and getting massacred by fell beasts. The only healer I have has been taken by the Witch King so I have to fight these things with only the items in my inventory to help me. It's VERY hard. You have to fight three in a row (maybe more, I haven't got that far yet) without being able to save inbetween and by the time I got to the third one I had NO healing items left so I had to just stand there and pretty much just let it kill me.

I'll have another go tonight but I honestly don't know how to do this

Nothing is ever simple is it? I've just been onto the cruise line website to fill in their immigration form and the site is down. It started off just running really slowly and now I'm getting a 'page cannot be found' message whenever I click on any of their links

I sent my VigBean fic to muck_a_luck for beta and blimey, I've never seen so much red in all my life. I don't think anyone has attacked my work so brutally before, all in a good way with suggestions offered etc. It was a bit of a sting, but a good one. Now I need to set about fixing it and hopefully with a better written piece of work as an end result

There is a girl at work who is very much into LotR and she popped into the office today to tell me about a cool sounding sci-fi/fantasy memorabilia shop that has just opened. We got talking about Kingdom of Heaven and I was saying how Orlando had NO chemistry with Eva Green. Her reponse

"Well, he's never really had chemistry with anyone apart from Aragorn. It wouldn't suprise me if he turned out to be gay"

This is coming from a person who doesn't have the internet, doesn't know what slash is and CERTAINLY doesn't know what RPS is
