I'm rather stuck on Third Age so I have decided to give it a rest for now before I smash the TV in a fit of frustration

I'm defending the gate at Helm's Deep and I do fine for the battle where Aragorn is on your team, and the battle after that but the third one just completely destroys me and of course you can't save in between fights so if I die I have to go right back to the part with Aragorn again. VERY annoying

[livejournal.com profile] bogwitch, you were right. The Gondorian IS an annoying twat! He keeps charging off to fight when everyone else is saying retreat. Wanker!

Right

Now that I've finished my Beanathon and made all the icons I wanted to, it's time I resumed my VigBean fic. If you see me online tomorrow and I'm not writing then hit me over the head with a dead fish...or something

Of course if I'm not online it means I'm playing Third Age which is just as bad

Must write! A couple of people from [livejournal.com profile] rugbytackle have offered to beta for me so I really need to get this chapter finished so I can get it sent off

YAY!!!

I've finished part one of my VigBean fic. I just need to go through and fix it up before I send it to my beta.

Yay!

I didn’t mean for it to happen. I hate pirates, despise them. They stand for all that I am against in the world, yet here I am fighting alongside one of the most notorious pirates on the ocean.

It’s hard not to get caught up in the moment as Jack and I charge down the deck and raise our swords to the navy men on board

“Gentlemen, we’re taking over the ship.”

“Aye, avast!”

I have no idea where that came from but Jack looks at me with a mixture of surprise and disdain.

I should have realised pirates don’t say avast.

The dancefloor of the Bronze vibrates with the beat of the music that’s playing, and in the centre of it all two girls dance. They are a striking pair. One blonde, one brunette. Sunlight and shadow. You can’t have one without the other. As they dance it is as though there is no one in the world apart from them, they exist in their own world and the people around them don’t realise that this is in fact the case

There is no one else like these two girls.

They are the chosen two

The are the Slayers

Jack knows that entering Port Royal is always risky. Almost every man, woman and child in the town knows his face following the undead pirate incident earlier in the year. But now he has something to return for, something worth risking his neck at the end of a noose for, something worth dying for. He keeps his head down and hopes nobody notices him.

He hears the voice before he sees the man.

“Hello sailor.”

Jack smiles. “Good afternoon, Commodore.”

Never once would Jack have imagined that the one person he would risk his life for would be a naval officer

Love is funny that way.

Jack never took for granted the hand life dealt him. He's spent time living under bridges and in dark and damp rooms, but he was always free. He could move on whenever he wanted, see new things and meet new people. It was his freedom that made him happy. Never before had he felt as free as he did now, on board the most luxurious ship in the world with the wind in his hair and nothing but an empty horizon ahead of him

All the money in the world couldn’t buy this kind of happiness.

Titanic means giant. A colossus not to be trifled with

To Jack it meant freedom
