Spoiler Whore!!!
Dec. 4th, 2002 08:48 pmI'm bad!! I've been doing so well. I've managed to stay pretty much spoiler free since Season 7 started. Obviously I need to read the wildfeeds, being in the UK and all, my site would kind of collapse if I didn't know what was going on.
Anyway, alas I caved today and read the spoilers for what happens in the next episode
( Bad Hils! )

Shop til you drop
Dec. 4th, 2002 09:10 pmNicked this from Isabelle
1. Go out and buy gifts, or shop online/mail order?
Depends. If I know what I want then I'll buy it online. If I want to browse I'll go out
2. Gift cards/certificates or pick out gifts?
Pick out gifts, they're more personal. Cards are easier though...
3. Pay cash or charge holiday gifts?
Cash. Ah, who needs money
4. Are most of your gifts mailed or given in person?
This year, mailed.
5. Are you an early-bird or last-minute holiday shopper?
Well, I finished my shopping last weekend. I guess that makes me an early bird
6. If you shop in stores...big chain stores or smaller specialty stores?
Both.
7. Wrap gifts yourself or have them wrapped at the store or mall?
I do them myself, but I should REALLY have them wrapped for me. I'm so bad at it
8. Shopping on *Black Friday* (day after Thanksgiving)...did you or didn't you?
Being a Brit there is no such thing. But no I didn't shop on that day
9. Is your holiday gift list large or small?
Define large? I've bought gifts for about 10 people
10. Is it better to give or to receive?
Both! I love buying stuff for my friends but receving is nice too

Life and stuff
Dec. 4th, 2002 09:16 pmWell, as it was pointed out yesterday I'm about due a 'proper' LJ entry, whereby I assess my life and try and bring meaning to the futility of it all. So here we go, what's going on in my life at the moment.
Work - Actually not too bad at the moment. Office bitca STILL refuses to acknowledge me but I've now accepted that that's just the way it is. Still, I'm feeling a lot more chilled out lately which is now bordering on 'can't be arsed'. Thankfully everyone seems to be winding down for Christmas so my apathy is going unnoticed. Will have to buck myself up in the new year.
Writing - It occured to me today that I haven't sat down and done any decent amount of writing for about 3 weeks. This is bad. I normally try to get at least one day's solid writing done a week. It's not like I've been busy or anything. It's just my general 'can't be arsed' attitude. I'm going to make a concerted effort to get a reasonable amount done this weekend. As Rob pointed out, it doesn't matter if what I churn out is no good. I can always go back to it. The point is I need to get back into the frame of mind. So, I shall be forcing myself to write something this weekend. Maybe my slash fic. It's nearly finished. Just a few more scenes to do...
Oh, and I've given up on the writing course. I just wasn't getting anything out of it. Being told each week that my stuff was 'alright' really wasn't helpful. And it made me ill to see the tutor gushing over this one girl's work no matter how good or bad it was.
Anything else? Hmm...well, I have a date in a few weeks....
