Made it up to Scotland for my dad's birthday. It wasn't the best drive, but still better than the time a lorry shed its load and I was sat stationary for 3 hours. This time I just got stuck at roadworks a couple of time, there were two accidents I passed (one where the police blocked the road so they could take photos and move the vehicles - no one was hurt), and the main road to my parents village was closed so I had to take a diversion through a load of twisty bendy roads through the forest.

But I'm here now! It's my dad's birthday today and we're going out for Chinese food this evening.

No major plans for the rest of the week. The weather isn't supposed to be great but hopefully I'll get out for a walk on the beach at least one day.

Not much going on in fandom news. I didn't bother starting a new drama after I finished Under the Skin as I knew I was going to be away. Will start something when I get home next weekend.

I'm currently on the 3rd draft of my DMBJ exchange fic. It's not due until the 12th but I'd like to get it to a beta sooner rather than later so they have time to read it and I have time to make any changes.

My kpop faves, ONUES, had a new album out on Tuesday and that's basically all I've been listening to this week. It's been so fun watching the numbers on their latest music video go up. I don't generally pay attention to stuff like that but I've been watching their popularity grow over the past couple of years and it makes me happy seeing them do well.
