Ooh, this is a tough one. There are some great fics in my current little fandom and some I re-read often but I'm going to go with this one, which I've only read once, but still think of often.

Brigid is an incredible writer. Parts of this fic read like poetry, and made me feel seen. It takes a lot to make me cry when reading a fic but this one did it. Killing me softly with this fic.

Oh. That summary alone makes me sad, somehow... this is what I like this specific Snowflake challenge for. There are amazing fic in fandoms I don't know and wouldn't know about otherwise. I've not been lured into C-drama (or is this K-drama, sorry, I don't know) but I know there is a vast body of work out there and it's great to be able to share that with others.

It's a c-drama and yeah, the fic is sad, but also beautiful and with a happy ending

I thought I knew this fandom, but I was confusing it with Candle in the Tomb. Beautiful fic though, and it was interesting seeing so many asexual characters tagged (is that canon, or at least suspected in canon?)

I think the author of The Lost Tomb started off writing Candle in the Tomb fic before he started writing his own stuff :D

Nobody is canonically asexual as far as I know, but at the same time none of them have any romantic interests either so it's not a stretch to read them that way.

Sorry to be picky, but I think you are conflating aromantic and asexual.
Though if there is no canon romantic interest I will have to raise it at the aromantic forums as a interesting series (Candle in the Tomb has so much yearning to partner up it is a bit crazy!)

I know the difference between aromantic and asexual. I *am* asexual (and aromantic)

But, yes, no canon romantic love interests or desire for them or sex. The women tend to die tbh :/

then why did you bring up 'romantic interests' when we were talking about asexual characters? although it is good to know for those who are romantically repulsed (which I am not)
