hilsJ: Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over the internet.
Honestly, the vast majority of fandoms I've been in have started because I saw something about it on the internet. I am Very Online and most of the things I've been into in recent years happened because I saw people talking about it on Twitter or Tumblr.
I think hockey is probably the most surprising fandom I've ever found myself in, though. Just because sport is such a far stretch from the usual tv/movie/comic fandoms I'd been in up until that point.
Realistically though sport fandom isn't that much different from any other fandom. Everyone is passionate about their team/favourite players, people collect merch and have conversations online about how a season is going and what they think might be coming.
A: Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
B: A pairing – platonic, romantic or sexual – that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.
C: A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
