Stuff has been Achieved

hilsWork continues to be insanely busy. Lockdown 2 means we have more people working from home again so the request for remote access fobs has shot through the roof again. I think I'm sending out over 50 per week at the moment which is insanely time consuming.
Coupled with that I'm back on recruitment duty so that's keeping me busy as well.
I feel kind of bad for complaining about work when so many people are being furloughed or made redundant, but good lord it's exhausting.
I did have a nice long weekend off where I attended ConFab, which is a fan-run convention I've been to a couple of times in person and this year was being held online. It was fun. amedawg18 and thebonwitch. Since we weren't watching any terrible Yibo shows and I wanted to have a thoughtful discussions it's the first Saturday in months where I haven't cracked open a bottle of wine :D
In other fandom news yesterday I finally posted my latest Untamed fic! It felt good, and it's got me wanting to finish the Lost Tomb fic I started a few weeks ago.
I also finished watching Love and Redemption which was fantastic! I don't think there was a single bad episode I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Next I will be starting Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty. Initially it was just going to be me but it seems to have turned into a group watch. So hopefully that'll be fun.
The Guardian novel book club is going well. We're about a third of the way through the novel now and it's fascinating. I love the world building in it so much. It's really interesting seeing the character changes too. Not just in terms of the show having to remove the gay content, but there's changes to some of the personalities too. I'm enjoying the novel a lot.
