Monday Again

hilsWow, I was just looking back and I haven't posted here since Thursday. This is what happens when I have days off I guess.
So, a brief summary:
Got my Untamed fic finished and sent to a beta so I can forget about that and start writing something else. I've kind of got a half-formed idea for a Lost Tomb fic but I'm not sure I know the characters well enough to write it (yes, I've watched three different Lost Tomb shows but still).
Love and Redemption continues to be delightful to the point where a scene I watched on Saturday made me actually clap my hands with glee. I still can't decide if it's going to continue to be adorable even when things are sad or if it's going to suddenly kick me in the feels when I least expect it. There are still many episodes to go (I've watched 12 of 59) so we shall see I guess.
We watched some good episodes of TLTR over the weekend but I'm very confused because episode 21 kind of felt like the end but there's still another 9 episodes to go. I really hope it has a satisfying actual ending and they're not dragging it out for the sake of it. Also, I appear to have become very attached to Liu Sang. I was kind of attached to him before but I'm VERY attached now. My poor boy won't someone give him a hug?
We've now only got one episode of Street Dance of China left but it is loooooooong (like 6 hours) so we're going to spread it over a couple of weeks. We've kind of got into a routine of watching stuff with the Australins on a Sunday now so we're thinking of things we can watch next.
NCT's new album dropped this morning and it's great! Even more solid than the SuperM album from last month I think, and I liked that one a lot too. I listened to the NCT album twice today which I can't even remember the last time I listened to the same album multiple times in the same day.
Jacqui's still got a nasty cough and last night she said she had a fever and was worried. We were thinking she might need another COVID test (this time done by a medical professional instead of done at home to rule out her doing it wrong somehow) but she feels better today (apart from the cough) so that's good. I had an anxious night though and didn't sleep very well.
And that's about it. In between watching all of the things I did a fandom quiz with Emma and bunch of her friends for her birthday and watched a ton of k-pop videos. Emma wanted a basic intro to k-pop so after the quiz Amy and I showed her some our faves. She was quite drunk by that point so I don't know how much of it actually stuck though.
And on Sunday we had our usual post-SDC3 k-pop session which is always fun. We mostly listened to a lot of NCT ahead of their new album so that was good. I found a couple of songs I hadn't heard before that I really liked.
The person who is beta reading my Untamed fic has asked me if I will read one of hers in return. Happy to do that but not today. My brain is fried from not sleeping very well last night. I think I'm going to watch some more Love and Redemption and then I've got a bonus Zoom call with the Newcastle gang this evening. I'll explain why tomorrow :D
