What A Difference A Day Makes

hilsImportant news first! Jacqui's COVID test came back negative, which is what we expected but it's a relief to know for sure.
Even though going outside brings its own stresses I am actually looking forward to being able to go to the shop tomorrow and pick up some groceries. The guys at work were lovely and offered to bring us things but we were fine for the basics and I didn't want to impose by asking for totally non-essential things like garlic :D
I totally forgot my boss was off today so that was a nice 'surprise' when I logged in this morning. I feel like I've spent most of the day in meetings.
Still, I managed to get caught up on everything and my inbox is nice and clear ahead of my two days off. I've also tidied and hoovered my bedroom this evening so everything is nice and tidy and I can just relax once I've been shopping tomorrow.
It's a friend's birthday today and they want to do a stream of a couple of episodes of The Untamed so we're going to do that after dinner. I'm going to cram in some Love and Redemption now and should be able to squeeze in an episode or two before I need to eat and be sociable.
It continues to delight me. I honestly did not expect to fall in love with this show as quickly as I have. By the time I got to episode 3 I was actually crying tears of happiness over how sweet it is, which I hope is a good sign? Of course this is a cdrama and there are still another 50+ episodes to go. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before things become tragic and terrible.
I really do love the main and supporting cast so much though. They're all such wonderful characters.
Okay, going to watch more now.
