hilsWHOOP! Halfway through the week! Soon it will be the weekend!
I've actually just realised that next Friday is when I go to the cabin I've rented for my birthday. That has come around FAST! I'll need to start thinking about what food and other treats I want to take with me. I'm really hoping the wifi is decent enough that I can still stream my shows on the Saturday night. Can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than drinking wine and laughing at dumb shows with my friends.
I very foolishly agreed to interview someone at 9am tomorrow which means I can't spend the first couple of hours at work sitting around in my pyjamas like I usually do. The person we're interviewing has a very Welsh name and I look forward to mangling it and disappointing my Welsh mother.
Oh, and speaking of my mother, today I got a package in the mail and my mum told me it wasn't for my birthday and that I could open it now. It turned out to be a countdown to Christmas desk calendar. Mum said that it's been a shitty year and she thought I might want something to look forward to.
It was a nice idea but, really, it's just reminding me that I still don't know if I'll be able to visit my parents for Christmas this year. The way things are going it's looking fairly unlikely. So it just kind of made me sad. I didn't tell her that of course I just said thank you.
That's kind of all the day has offered really. I'm going to go and recap the episodes of Lost Tomb 2 that we've watched so far so that I can livetweet the ones I'm watching by myself after dinner.
