hilsTwo interviews done and two to do tomorrow. I did the first one with my messy shelves in the background and then got a bit self-conscious and stuck a corporate branded background up for the second one. Neither of them particularly wowed me. First guy described his last job, which was almost the same as the one he's applying for, as monotonous and boring. So that was an immediate no. There was something about the second guy that didn't sit quite right with me. The person interviewing with me said she thought he was fine but there was something about his tone that sounded a bit patronising. So he's on the maybe pile. I'm hoping tomorrow's will be better.
Inspired by The Untamed Emma decided to have a go at making pork rib and lotus root soup and she's put some in a tupperware box to pick up so I can try it too. I'll need to swing by some time tomorrow to get it. No idea when as I have a lot to do tomorrow but I'll squeeze in some time somewhere. Apparently it's good for a few days so if I have to pick it up on Friday morning it's not the end of the world.
I was delighted to see that the guy who did the fabulous reaction video for the last SuperM single has done the same thing for their new one. These are so fun! He watches videos like I do, except I take screenshots and yell on Twitter instead of recording myself.
I've now subscribed to his channel because these videos just make me so happy they're so fun. While I was poking around on YouTube I found his reaction to the Dynamite b-side video and you haven't lived until you've seen a grown man losing his mind because a member of a k-pop band is so beautiful he reminds you of a unicorn. I recommend the whole thing but if you just want to see that part it starts at around the 4 minute mark and ends at around the 7 minute mark. He has a lot of feelings :D
I haven't found any time this week to edit my fic and I'm probably not going to have any time until Sunday now. I don't understand how I'm so busy when I'm not leaving the house. It's not a complaint, though. Being busy is better than wallowing in despair.
Kingdom continues to be excellent. I love the clever things it's doing with genre and audience expectations. I'll probably do an overall recap when I get to the end of the first season but it's so good!
