Hello everyone I am back from my hockey road trip. SO MUCH FUN!
I'll try and do some posts and share a few pics in the next couple of days but in the meantime I have a question.
I think I want to try and do a scrapbook for my trip. I have tickets and other stuff as well as all my photos and I thought it might be fun. Only thing is I haven't made any sort of scrapbook since I was about 6 years old when I used to do them on family holidays.
Anyone got any tips? It's been suggested I try Hobbycraft for supplies but that's about as far as I got. I am in no way an artistic person so simple stuff appreciated

You can upload your photos and arrange tthem, add text, background, and other stuff. You could scan in your stubs or just take pictures of them. When you finish, they send you the book. It's pretty easy and might be easier and cheaper than buying all the supplies.

Of course it helped that the Pens won both games I went to. There were lots of annoyed Canadian in Montreal that night I bet, although the Habs fans sitting next to me were very polite.

Date: 2017-01-28 07:01 pm (UTC)I'd get the largest size you can manage/store, and include odd numbers of pictures and at least one journalling area on each page - this would include where you were, who was there with you, what you were doing and anything else you think might be interesting in the future when you really won't remember the detail - it's really frustrating trying to remember, for instance, just who the guy in the black tee was, trust me!
You can get some little plastic pockets to stick on the page to put memorabilia in, which means it won't get damaged by glue etc...
I'd have a browse on pinterest to get an idea for layouts - ultimately it's personal choice and some people like the page to be packed, and others like white space to make the pics pop.
Sounds like an exciting project!
