85 Days and Counting

Hockey road trip is progressing! Have now booked all our hotels bar one and we've booked all our game tickets.

So over a period of 10 days we will be seeing:

Boston Pride vs Connecticut Whale (NWHL in Northford)
Springfield vs Lehigh Valley (AHL in Springfield)
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Montreal Canadiens (in Montreal)
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Boston Bruins (in Pittsburgh)
Washington Capitals vs Carolina Hurricanes (in Washington)

SO MUCH HOCKEY! It's going to be awesome :D

Go Whale! They have to be from Hartford; home of my American team (still hope that an NHL franchise will return there) - that green funk? That the steam of boiling jealousy rising ;-)

I think I may get lynched if I don't root for Boston but I don't know much about either team so I'm happy to just enjoy awesome ladies playing awesome hockey :D

Ah, you see I follow Cleveland; the White Sox and especially the Cubbies at Baseball, but always route for the Red Sox if the others fall - though my team is the Brooklyn Dodgers; not those fake ones on the other coast please note, so I can route for other teams; even ones I don;t like sometimes (but only when they're up against the Yankees - or the Kings); my Canadian team is the Jets, but ANY Canadian team will do me in the NHL.

I have very strong (negative) feelings about the Leafs and the Habs just broke two of my players so they're both off my list in terms of Canadian teams :D
