Best Day Ever

hilsI had such a great pre-birthday yesterday!!
We popped into Forbidden Planet on the way to the cat cafe and I was very good and didn't buy anything.
Cat cafe itself was great. Before we even got around to playing with the kitties I was presented with my birthday present from my friends and well...
I nearly started crying in the middle of the cafe! Apparently he's a leftie and smudged my name while he was writing it (and spelled it wrong even though he had a bit of paper with my name written down on it - bless).
So that was amazing!
It was funny we played with the kitties a bit and took some pictures but we mostly just sat and chatted. I made the fatal error of pointing out that there's an app version of Cards Against Humanity so we ended up playing that and laughing a lot.
Oh, and I had the most AWESOME Oreo milkshake which was most definitely NOT on the diet plan but it's my birthday (sort of)
After the cat cafe we ended up back in Forbidden Planet and sadly I was not able to resist when someone pointed out they were selling this.
Finally we stopped off at Starbucks and I had a small freakout when I remembered that it's now pumpkin spice season. For those who don't know I have a tragic love affair with pumpkin spice. I had it when I was in the US and totally fell in love but it's really not a thing here in the UK. Starbucks has just in the past couple of years started doing pumpkin spice lattes but that's pretty much all you can get. I love it so much my friends in the US send me pumpkin spice care packages in exchange for British snacks.
So when I saw they had pumpkin spice frappuccinos I lost my shit much to the amusement of the barrista.
Finally it was time to head home. I'm tired today but I had a great weekend and I am so blessed to have such amazing friends. I think I was happier yesterday than I have been in months.
Oh, and my Renner autograph is now installed on the wall above my desk near my Sebstan autograph
