My sister flickums is visiting this weekend. We went to see the Man From UNCLE movie this evening. It was her first viewing and my 6th. Oops. Anyways she enjoyed it so YAY and commented that it was the slashiest thing ever.

Well, of course I had to point out that the movie has NOTHING on the amount of gay subtext in the show and proceeded to describe the plot of The Suburbia Affair. Naturally she wanted to watch it so we did that when we got home.

It's probably not the best episode to use to introduce someone to the show. Although she did watch it when we were kids but she was very young and doesn't remember much about it. But it's so ridiculous and funny and I love it.

Illya's souffle rage is one of my all time favourite things in the show especially at the end where he gets right in Napoleon's personal space and informs him in no uncertain terms that he is not going out for dinner he is going to come home and have his damn souffle

I just loved that two guys could move in together and the realtor didn't even bat an eye. Wouldn't be the same today.
