Agents of SHIELD

I know I haven't done weekly reviews of this show but I am having a lot of feelings about this episode and I need to get them out


OMG MY PRECIOUS SCIENCE BABIES!

See, this is the thing with watching a Joss show. In most regular shows if something bad happens to a member of the main cast you can be pretty sure they'll make it out okay because they're the main cast.

Joss obviously will kill anyone if it suits the story so when Jemma got infected for a while I thought it was going to be okay, then time was starting to run out and I wondered if Joss was going to pull his usual 'Hahah I fooled you! Say goodbye to one of the main cast that I have made you love in a short space of time'

So basically I spent the last 10 minutes of this episode sobbing.

And when Jemma jumped out of the plane I actually started screaming at my laptop

And then it was all okay, except not because Coulson thinks he came back wrong and May was comforting him but he DID come back wrong and WHY DOES THIS SHOW HURT ME SO MUCH OMG!

I need a drink.

I think last night was the best so far. As with Dollhouse and even Firefly maybe, it took a few eps for the shows to really get their feet beneath them and take off. I'm hoping SHIELD is now off and running so it doesn't get killed too quickly.

I am so digging Coulson.

Yeah, I definitely agree that this episode was the point where it went from 'pretty good' to 'amazing'

I hope it continues like this from now on :D
