1. I am in love with the directors of this show. Every shot is so beautifully framed I feel like I’m looking at art.

2. Someone needs to congratulate Mads on being so damn fucking terrifying! I’m almost glad they’re taking him down this route so quickly because when he was charming and kind of likeable I felt all kinds of guilty.

3. WILL! MY POOR BABY! OMG!

4. I’m pretty sure Bryan Fuller said they were going to do the events of Red Dragon in S4. Which means Hannibal will wind up getting caught and put in jail some time around the end of S3 or the start of S4. Which, in turn, makes me wonder what the plot of S2 will be.

5. The official Hannibal tumblr said that Will wasn’t the character we needed to worry about most this week. I honestly thought after seeing all the promo images that Gillian Anderson’s character was going to die. Never crossed my mind for a minute that it would be Abigail.

6. Related to point 5 I honestly don’t think Hannibal would have considered killing Abigail if (in his mind at least) the situation hadn’t deemed it necessary. Ditto his framing of Will. I’m not sure what his endgame for Will was going to be but I don’t think it was this. And I’m pretty sure his initial plan for Abigail was for her to help him in the same way she helped her dad. Interesting turn of events.

7. It was a short lived ship but I honestly can’t bring myself to ship Hannibal and Will anymore. I do thing the tone of the show pushed it in that direction for a while. I honestly didn’t start watching with the intention of shipping anyone but all the talks about them being parents to Abigail and all the touching and sniffing sort of made it happen.

But now I am too scared of Hannibal to want him anywhere near poor Will.

Aaaaand I think that’s it

Oh, and SOMEONE HELP WILL GRAHAM

I thought the scene where he talked to Abigail about being 'curious' was one of his most chilling to date. Because it wasn't just a look on his face that the camera sees when no one else was watching, it was him letting the 'person suit' fall away completely, talking so calmly and detachedly about how he killed just because he was curious.

They said S4 would be Red Dragon, which is Will going to Hannibal in jail for help with a case. S2 is supposed to be the 'bad breakup'. Which I guess means S3 would be Will recovering from the bad breakup and Hannibal in jail, I guess. I would bet Hannibal goes to jail at the very end of S2 or beginning of S3. There has to be some time passing after Hannibal is actually jailed and when Will goes to him later for a case.

Me too! That said, I'm very interested in Bedelia and the full backstory on that patient.

(delayed reply is delayed and I haven't seen the finale yet so bear with me)

I find Bedalia fascinating. For the longest time half the fandom was convinced she existed inside Hannibal's head and it was only when Jack went to visit her that everyone accepted that she was real

What I found interesting was this photo which was posted on the official Hannibal FB page

The accompanying text was 'one of the most symbolic shots of the season' so now I'm analysing the hell out of it trying to figure out what it all means

I took that shot to mean that they were 'aligned' so to speak. Like, the beginning of that scene is also different, because Hannibal is standing by the window, and neither of them are seated. Also, he's bathed in light. Maybe more symbolism about how Bedelia sees all of him, nothing is hidden, etc. Then when he sits down, and she remains standing by his side, it puts them on the same side of the room, instead of their usual physical opposition in chairs facing each other.
