Okay, I need to talk about the Arrow finale


Okay, I cannot have been the only one shocked by Tommy's death. I really thought they were going to set him up as a Lex Luthor type villain. Although my heart did go all melty when he turned up to save Laurel and then he died and I had all the sads.

I really am enjoying Arrow a lot. It's like they took Smallville and removed all the cheesy bad writing. And the great thing is there's nothing supernatural (hah!) about it. There's no kryptonite or magic or vampires or anything like that. Everyone in it is just a regular human.

But, yeah, I loved the Arrow finale and was genuinely shocked by what happened. Looking forward to S2.

But I have all the feelings about Tommy.

The showrunners say that you'll see Tommy again thanks to their constant use of flashbacks.

ME TOO! Shocked that is about Tommy's death. It felt like they were setting him up to be a villain, which I was kind of dissapointed in because it seemed too heavy handed and obvious. But then he's arguing against his father, having morals about killing, and then saving Laurel and I loved him so much!

I am really loving Arrow, it's my favorite of the new shows this past fall season. It's just so GOOD, it starts off kind of cheesy but the writing is really solid and the characters are built up over time. The formation of the team of Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity was built up so well and I enjoy their interactions so much.

I am excited about season 2! I was a little disappointed about the lack of scifi stuff but it does work really well for the show.

so shocked and disappointed about Tommy's death :-( wish it would have been Laurel instead.
enjoyed this show way more than I thought I would. it actually became my fav show of this season.
