So, I keep doing posts like this and then utterly failing to follow through on it but I DO want to be more active on LJ again.

I spend a lot of time on Tumblr which is great and a lot of fun but it's not really ideal for the interactive aspect of fandom. I want to talk to people and Tumblr doesn't really lend itself to that.

So I shall try again on here.

So, what's going on with all of you? Tell me stuff!

Main news for me is that I've had to move back in with my Grandad because he can't manage safely on his own anymore. So no moving back to York any time soon! *sobs* Looking for any work I can get to tide me over.

Just began my final examination period for 1L year! (first year of law school aka hell) I finish exams on the 15th. One down, four to sit.
Still no summer job. I try not to think about it, and apply everywhere that looks feasible.
More comfortable in my gender identity than I was this time last year, or even eight months ago.
Johnny Fucking Marr show last night; temporarily hard of hearing in one ear because of it. No regrets. ♥

I still run the FYC/C tumblr, but that's more out of affection for the guy who began it than any real interest. I hardly ever read fic involving that pairing. Shhh.

Guess I've moved on? I don't write it and I don't read it much at all. I've gotten back into bandom rpf for reading things, or stories bookmarked as my favorites.

Oh, it YOU running the Tumblr. I felt bad because I came on as an admin but didn't really know what I was meant to be doing so wound up doing nothing :( Then I deleted my account and started over with a new one (long story)

If you're still active in that side of fandom, I'd love the help.

All you do is queue up fanart (usually found in the #clintcoulson tag) and write/reblog fic reviews - tag the posts with the rating, pairing - and if you read it, remember to write a note why you found it cute/dark/sad/funny whatever. Basically, just follow the formatting of previous fic recs. Answer questions from the askbox if you know 'em.

Hola! I'm trying to be more active on here and talk with peeps, but I'm not rocking it yet. :P Definitely miss how active everyone used to be (including myself *cough*).

Life is a mix of bleh and awesome. The local Sherlock and SPN groups I regularly meet with are rad and my IRL fandom and theatre friends are just the best. Don't have a job but miiight have an interview next. Fingers crossed that goes well! I have to cons to attend and musicals to see. ;)

I think a lot of people have moved away from LJ to Tumblr (or have left fandom entirely) so I totally get it

I am determined that we will meet one day given how often we talk on Twitter (and I see you found my new Tumblr). Can I convince you to come to Chicon in October? :D

Work is pants (long - and OMG boring - story) I've been signed off sick for three and a half weeks so far with panic attacks, anxiety and depression and I rattle if you shake me with the amount of medication I'm on.

On the upside, the weather has been gorgeous down here in Portsmouth so I've had a lovely time looking for a new job and dipping my toes in Tumblr whilst sitting in the shade in the garden.

Eh, I get full pay for the first six months' sickness so I'm okay if the doc decides I need longer off. Basically, I asked to step down as manager in November and HR agreed but I'm still in position six months later.

Tumblr seems fun, I'm still getting used to it but it definitely doesn't seem to be as easy to be social there as it was here on LJ.
