Well, I'm back to being annoyed but it's not as bad as it was during the first episode. It's more of a frustrated resignation over the fact that there isn't actually anything weird going on with Sam. It's just, for whatever reason, the writers seem to have decided to give him a storyline that would have felt more in place for S1 or S2.
Maybe they'll explain it but I thought we'd been over this whole thing before where Sam flat out stated he didn't want to go back to the way he was.
I dunno. I'm having as hard a time accepting it as Dean is.
Is this going to be the last season? It has that last season feel to it with Sam making plans to retire from hunting and go back to college. Unless something terrible happens to change his mind.
Also, what's with all the Thor references this season? We had Mjolnir in the last episode and the cop saying 'Thor he ain't'. This is doing things to my brain wherein I think maybe Thor will show up later on (We've had Odin after all and Gabriel was Loki). And then if Thor shows up maybe they'll bring back Gabriel/Loki.
Which would make me very happy obviously.
Uh, other than that not a lot to say about this episode really. It was okay. Not bad but not amazing.
Speaking of amazing, though, Sam's hair was looking glorious this week :D
