I have a very important and srs bsns question based on the last episode of SPN



So in Purgatory Benny has a beard


Cas has a beard


Dean does not. In fact Dean appears to have less facial hair than he did when he first got there. What’s up with that? Either Dean is very particular about personal grooming or Purgatory has some sort of magic field that keeps humans facial hair free.

Either that or Dean wanted to look his best when he was reunited with his angel ;)

Also, can we take a moment to appreciate Castiel’s sad little face :(

Theories! Maybe time moves differently for different creatures in purgatory. Maybe bc humans are not even supposed to be there, Dean is caught in some kind of stasis? Maybe Dean has been shaving with the claws of his enemies. Maybe Misha couldn't outgrow Jensen's facial hair and they told Jensen, ugh, fuck it just shave so we can tell Cas is looking ragged.

Maybe magic. IDK.

I wondered about that too. Probably the Directors/Writers to keep Dean looking like Dean and Cas looking gorgeously ruffled.

But I like the idea that time had stood still for Dean as he should not have been there. How does time flow in Purgutory?
