The only interesting thing about this episode was how awesome Sam's hair looked. Other than that it was pretty blah.

I dunno. I'm not in a very good headspace with SPN at the moment. I started off really enjoying S7 but it just feels kind of stagnant now. It's nothing to do with Cas being missing but I dunno. The pacing is all slow again, which was my main problem with S5.

Considering we're now over halfway through S7 I'd be expecting a little more to be going on.

Meh.

I quit watching after 7x03 and haven't started back up since. I'd like to watch it all the way through, but it's just the boys arguing with each other/losing key members of the family/arguing with each other some more. Y'know, the everyday stuff that's been present ever since season 4. >_< I did see the ep with James and Charisma, though, just because I had to. JAMES! CHARISMA! :)

IDK. I guess I was feeling generous after the hiatus. but I really did quite enjoy it. Also - angst. And Cas' name!

Overall I agree with you though. And it's 'nice' to see several people on my flist having issues with SPN now, because my problems really are 90% Cas, so it's hard to tell if my concept of the writing in general is fair or being too clouded by that bias. At least now I know for sure there are writing issues.

I wish I could pin point the problem more still though. Cos I don't hate the MotW format, like some. So the semi-return to that they've got going doesn't jar too badly for me. But something is still... off.

7.17 will be my make or break episode I think.

At this point I'm not even sure Castiel's return can get me out of this slump, especially given what Misha said at Nashcon (I won't spoil you just in case you don't want to know).

It does seem like a lot of filler episodes right now I guess. I'm liking all the individual episodes but none so far have really gripped me that much.
In S5 I OMGLOVED! so many individual episodes but yeah, this season, and the last really are a bit meh. Although I really loved the first ep of this season and Death's Door.
I'm kind of meh about the leviathans altogether really, but I think that's just because nothing's picked up yet. Hopefully it'll get more exciting soon. Dick seems potentially interesting.
