One of my oldest friends, Dave, is celebrating the publication of his first novel. I am ridiculously proud and excited. He's been a writer for the whole time I've known him (I won't say how long but the number of years is in double figures) and I actually proof read the first draft of the first few chapters of this way back when.

If you're a fan of the fantasy genre I highly recommend picking up a copy (and I'm not just saying that because he's my friend - it really is good)

He's going to be signing at SFX Weekender next month so if you happen to be going pop over and say hi. Sadly I am working. Really wanted to be there for his first signing. Hopefully I'll get to one soon though.
